Spring Oaks Web Site Nearing Completion

If you haven't had a chance to check out the new Spring Oaks Web site, take a few minutes to visit and learn more about what's going on in your neighborhood! Over the last month, we assembled a collection of information on the site that should prove useful to our residents, prospective home buyers, and our local community. The site is nearing completion, but read on to find out how you can contribute. The sections of the site include:

Offers a general introduction to our neighborhood for those who don't already know about us.

-News
Provides an archive of e-mail announcements sent to our mailing list.

-Calendar
Gives dates of important neighborhood events in a calendar format.

-About Us
Puts forth general information about Spring Oaks Civic Assocation.

-Officers
Lists the current officers of the Spring Oaks Civic Assocation and their contact information.

-Committees
Details the standing committees and special committees of the Spring Oaks Civic Assocation.

-Documents
Lists neighborhood deed restrictions and bylaws.

-Photos
Will soon provide pictures of the neighborhood and important events over the years.

-History
Presents a history of the neighborhood kindly submitted by Irene Kovar, one of the neighborhood's original residents.

-Contact Us
Provides a form to contact the officers of Spring Oaks Civic Assocation.

-Member Area
Password-protected area to safely update your contact information.

If you'd like to help add to the site, we are currently accepting photos of the neighborhood through the years to add to the Photos section. If you have any photos to share of the neighborhood's streets, homes, people, or events, please e-mail them to admin@springoaks.org, or mail them to:

For any pictures you send, please include a caption describing the subject of the picture and when the picture was taken. For pictures sent by mail, please include your name on the back of each photo to ensure they are returned to the right address after they are scanned into digital format.

If you have any neighbors who have not signed up for the mailing list, please ask them to go to the site to sign up. Also, be sure to log in yourself to update your password from the default password assigned to you. If you need any help with that, just write admin@springoaks.org.

We really hope that the site proves to be a valuable resource for you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know.
